Individuals and communities that have limited or no access to timely health care have poor health outcomes. Access to care is critical for Black, brown and disadvantaged communities experiencing systemic health inequities and poverty. For these reasons, Roots monitors policies, regulations and other factors that impact coverage and access to health care that all communities deserve.
