Oakland STOMP: Street Team Outreach Medical Program

Oakland STOMP is Roots’ street medicine program that brings care to the people. We deliver outreach, benefits enrollment, linkage to services and treatment, and medical care to homeless individuals throughout the city of Oakland.

Oakland STOMP truly meets the people “where they’re at” – both physically, and in terms of their readiness to engage in their own health and well-being. By building long-term relationships and reducing harm, we are able to reach those members of our community who have been marginalized from traditional healthcare, while improving the health of our community overall.

The STOMP Mobile Clinic goes to Downtown/West Oakland on Tuesdays, East Oakland on Thursdays, and hosts “Welcome Wednesday” walk-in clinic weekly at our Main Clinic. Please download the STOMP flyer for more details.
