Emancipators

The Emancipators Initiative helps people who have been out of work for a long time, faced barriers finding a job, or may need help with basic job skills. The program combines on-the-job training with support for the whole person, so participants can meet their basic needs while gaining work experience and learning skills for better career opportunities.

Roots currently runs three social enterprises: Clean360, Glow360, and Hamilton Broadway Signs.

CLEAN360 & GLOW360

From natural moisturizers and handmade soaps to candles and bath bombs with essential oils, we’ve got you covered! Clean360 and Glow360, social enterprises by Roots Community Health, make hand-crafted bath, body, and home products at affordable prices.

HAMILTON BROADWAY SIGNS

The sign industry relies on teamwork, bringing together different skills to design, make, and install signs. Because signs are always in demand, sign making is a steady and meaningful career. With HBS, Roots created a program that teaches the skills needed to get jobs at any sign company and helps all Emancipators earn a livable wage.
